Application:

1. Preparation: Cut out a piece of Vliesofix and the desired application shape. Place the rough (glued) side of Vliesofix on the wrong side of the fabric.
2. Ironing: Cover Vliesofix with a damp cloth and iron for 10-12 seconds with a warm iron (wool setting). This first ironing step melts the adhesive layer and bonds it to the fabric. Make sure the iron does not slide to prevent the adhesive layer from shifting.
3. Removing Paper: Allow the fabric to cool, then carefully peel the paper away from the fabric, exposing the second layer of adhesive.
4. Attaching the application: Place the fabric with the exposed adhesive layer on the desired position of the underlying fabric. Cover again with a damp cloth and press firmly. This will permanently secure the application.

Additional information:

• Mending and Reinforcing: To repair damaged fabrics, use a piece of fabric that is 1-2 cm larger than the area to be repaired. Place Vliesofix on the wrong side of the piece and follow the ironing instructions above to create a durable repair.
• Removal: To remove the application, simply wipe over it with a damp cloth and carefully pull off the application. Any adhesive residue can be removed with denatured alcohol.
